To know Kim is to know someone who shows up, whether as a coworker, a friend, or in the lives of those she cares for day in and day out. Her patients, colleagues, and community have all felt the impact of her kindness, compassion, and steady presence. She reflects Christ’s love in the way she pours into others, and so many have been blessed because of her.

At home, Kim is a loving wife to her husband, Mike, a devoted mother to three beautiful daughters, and a proud grandmother to two precious grandchildren, roles she treasures most. She is also a dedicated dog mom to five beloved pups, who bring her so much joy.

In 2020, Kim was diagnosed with colon cancer. After treatment, she experienced nearly five years of remission. Recently, during a routine follow-up scan, doctors discovered that the cancer has returned and is now affecting her liver. She has begun treatment, including chemotherapy, and is approaching this season with strength, faith, and grace, trusting the Lord and continuing to focus on what matters most, her family and each day in front of her.

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me.” (Psalm 28:7)

This fundraiser is being created as a surprise for Kim by those who love her and want to come alongside her in a meaningful way. Rather than letting the added expenses and logistics of treatment become a source of stress, we would love to quietly lift that weight where we can, allowing Kim to stay focused on healing, rest, and time with her family.

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2)
